We know that preparation and understanding the nature of the tour is important.
Can we start and finish our tour from the same or different airports or a hotel?
Yes. We can adjust the itinerary according to where you need to be picked up and dropped off, including hotels in Alice Springs or Ayers Rock.
Can extra things be added to the itinerary?
Yes. We can customise your trip to suit your needs and offer ideas for the best possible outcome for your group.
What’s the weather like in Central Australia?
Temperatures vary greatly. October to April is warmer, while May to September can be cold overnight and mild during the day.
How do we get there?
Alice Springs and Yulara have domestic airports. We can also organise transport by coach depending on your requirements.
What is the accommodation like?
Most of the time you will be camping. Swags or tents are provided depending on the trip.
What is a swag?
A swag is a waterproof bedroll used for sleeping under the stars.
Do you cater for vegetarians and food preferences?
Yes. We can cater for vegetarians, allergies and other food preferences when advised in advance.
How many passengers can you take?
We can take groups of different sizes. The minimum recommended group size is usually 12 passengers.
Do I need to bring a sleeping bag and pillow?
School groups need their own sleeping bags. A small pillow or cushion is recommended.
Are there other costs apart from the quoted price?
Unless indicated in the quote, prices are generally all-inclusive. Extra personal purchases are separate.
How do I make a booking?
Contact us by email or phone. A deposit is usually required to confirm your booking.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, but cancellation terms apply. Please see the Booking T&Cs page.
Do you provide mobile coverage in remote areas?
Coverage varies. Telstra is generally best in regional areas, but some remote areas have no coverage.

We take safety seriously and expect all visitors and staff to exercise common sense and caution in unfamiliar environments. The outback has unique risks, and some need to be managed together.
On request, once booked, we can provide relevant insurance Certificates of Currency, Risk Assessments and other safety information.
